Each June the Center holds its Closing Ceremony. HSE and ESL students assemble in the neighboring parish gym. Representatives of the five levels of ESL and the HSE class address the assembly and share the highlights of their time at the Center. Certificates are awarded and those who have earned a New York State High School Equivalency diploma are announced. A festive brunch, sponsored by the Ladies of Charity from St. John’s University, completes the morning activities.
